ARC-M Annual Event
We warmly invite you to join us on 5 November for the ARC-M Annual Event.
This event brings together scholars and students from UvA and beyond who work on migration, as well as colleagues interested in the forces driving migration and mobility; the ways migration is experienced, represented, and governed; and the impact of migration and mobility on societies.

Programme
We will begin with a series of break-out sessions introducing recent research conducted by ARC-M scholars. Research will be presented by: Gianna Eick, Fenella Fleischmann, Marcel Maussen & Gözde Hussain, Xingcheng Wen, Sarah Adeyinka and Ely Strömberg.
In the ensuing roundtable plenary session entitled Migration Scholars in a Polarising World, Ladan Rahbari, Hein de Haas, and Saskia Bonjour will reflect, together with the audience, on what it means to participate in increasingly polarised public debates on migration. The roundtable will be moderated by Bram Lancee.
We will conclude the afternoon with drinks and a light buffet—an opportunity to connect, reconnect, and be inspired.
